Day 0 — You submit

Submit your brief.
5 minutes, no fluff.

The brief is the starting point — and it doesn’t need to be long or polished. We ask for four things: your name, your work email, your company or website, and a short description of what the story is about.

That’s it. We don’t ask for a ready-made press release, a formatted article, or a detailed brief document. A few sentences about your company and what you’d like covered is enough for us to work with.

Once submitted, we review your brief within 24 hours. If it’s a good fit, we accept and move to drafting. If it’s not something we can place on StreetInsider in its current form, we’ll tell you why and what would make it work — or decline with a full explanation.

  • No need to write the article yourself — just explain what you want covered
  • We’ll come back with questions if we need more detail
  • Review and acceptance decision within 24 hours
  • No payment until your brief is accepted

Editorial-grade draft.
Written for StreetInsider.

This is where we do the heavy lifting. Once your brief is accepted, our team develops the story angle — the editorial frame that makes your company genuinely newsworthy, not just promotional.

The draft is written to the standard StreetInsider expects: factual, direct, structured like a financial news article, with a clear news hook. We don’t pad articles with adjectives or turn them into advertisements. The editorial quality is what gets them accepted.

If we need additional information — quotes, specific metrics, product details, or background — we’ll reach out before completing the draft. You’ll have the full article for review within 24 hours of acceptance.

  • Story angle developed specifically for StreetInsider’s editorial standards
  • Written by PR professionals, not AI-generated copy
  • Clear news hook — not a disguised advertisement
  • Draft delivered within 24 hours
  • We may follow up with questions before finalising

Acme Corp Launches Savings Platform Targeting the $1.6 Trillion Freelance Economy

NEW YORK — Acme Corp, a fintech startup backed by leading venture capital firms, today announced the launch of its savings platform designed specifically for independent workers and freelancers…

The platform addresses a documented gap in financial services: while freelancers represent nearly 40% of the US workforce, most savings and investment products remain structured around traditional employment…

⏳ Awaiting your review — reply with feedback or approval

Day 1–2 — You review

Two revision rounds.
Nothing goes live without you.

You receive the full draft and review it. Every placement includes two rounds of revisions at no extra cost. You can request changes to framing, wording, quotes, emphasis, or factual details — we’ll turn revisions around quickly.

What we can’t do is make the article sound like a press release or an advertisement — that’s the line StreetInsider’s editorial process won’t accept. We’ll tell you if a requested change would put the placement at risk and suggest an alternative approach.

Once you sign off, the article is submitted for publication. Nothing goes live without your explicit approval — we will always wait for your confirmation before proceeding.

  • Two full rounds of revisions included in every placement
  • Wording, facts, quotes, emphasis — all open to feedback
  • We’ll flag if a requested change risks editorial acceptance
  • Your explicit sign-off required before we submit
  • Revisions typically turned around within 24 hours

Brief writing guide

How to write a brief
that gets accepted

🎯
Lead with the news

Tell us what has happened or is about to happen — a launch, a raise, an expansion, a milestone, a market observation. “We’re a good company” is not a news hook. “We just closed our Series A and are launching in three new markets” is.

📊
Include real numbers

Financial media articles live and die on specifics. Even rough numbers — funding amount, customer count, market size, revenue range — give us the raw material to build a credible editorial angle. Vague briefs produce weaker pitches.

💡
Tell us why now

The strongest StreetInsider articles tie a company story to a wider market moment. If your product solves a problem that’s in the news right now, or if you’re operating in a space experiencing rapid change, tell us — that’s the editorial hook.

🚫
Don’t write the article

The brief is not a draft. You don’t need to write the article or even a polished paragraph. Just explain your company and what you want covered in plain language. The more natural and direct your brief, the better we can work with it.

🏆
State the business goal

Tell us what you’re trying to achieve — fundraising visibility, press page credibility, AI search presence, market entry announcement, ORM, or something else. Knowing the goal helps us frame the angle to maximise impact for your specific objective.

Be honest about constraints

If there’s something you can’t disclose publicly yet — exact funding numbers, customer names, launch dates — tell us upfront. We’ll work around it. It’s better to flag constraints early than to have us develop an angle that breaks on a detail you can’t confirm.

Quick answers

Process questions,
answered directly

Do I need to write anything before submitting?

No. The brief form has four fields. You just explain your company and what you’d like covered. We develop the angle, write the article, and handle everything else.

What if my brief is declined?

We’ll tell you why and what would make it work. No charge. You’re welcome to revise and resubmit, or we can point you toward a more suitable placement option.

Can I get a faster turnaround?

The standard turnaround is 1–3 days. Same-day options may be available depending on workload — mention it in your brief and we’ll advise.

What happens if I’m not happy with the draft?

You have two rounds of revisions to get it right. If after revisions you’re still not satisfied, we’ll work with you until you are — we won’t submit anything you haven’t approved.

When do I pay?

Payment is requested after we accept your brief — not before. The $36 flat fee covers everything including writing, revisions, and submission. You pay once, no surprises.

What if the article doesn’t get published?

Full refund. We don’t accept briefs we can’t deliver on, which is why this rarely happens — but if it does, you get your money back in full, no questions.
